Camille Cano is a singer-songwriter born and raised in greater Seattle, Washington, making music which she can only describe as “nostalgia pop.” Camille crafts melodic, thoughtful lyrics - whether she’s paralyzed by existential dread, yearning for an unrequited love, or sweetly expressing affections for a crush with a simple yet powerfully catchy pop chorus. A songwriter-turned-bedroom pop producer, Cano’s music is sprawling with lush harmony stacks, sweeping synths, and reverb-drenched live guitars. With each release, she occupies a space in the wistful indie-pop sphere that feels entirely her own.
"In a genre where it can be difficult to be noticed, Camille has figured out how to create a uniquely ethereal and enchanting dream pop sound." (Lefuturewave)
Cano first began releasing music from her childhood bedroom during the 2020 pandemic. Since then, her songs have amassed more than 2 million Spotify streams, earned spots on multiple Spotify editorial playlists, aired on Seattle’s own KEXP, and received Netflix placement. Her latest single, “doomsday prepping” follows the announcement of I talk to the moon, the upcoming debut EP that represents a more cohesive and deeply personal direction for the artist.

"Camille Cano’s songcraft is timeless… equally at home surrounded by her standard landscape of synths, drum machines, and harmonies as it is standing on its own… with little else but lyric and melody.” (Digital Velvet)
At the core of Camille’s music is a confiding vulnerability that feels just as effective on a stripped down piano ballad as it does over a pulsing synth beat. There’s a hazy, dream-like quality to the songs perhaps best captured by a lyric from 2025’s limerence-soaked “fear of heights”: “head up there in the clouds”. In Camille’s world, there’s a sweetness to the melancholy. True love and quiet anxiety coexist on love songs like “Small Doses” and “can you tell me when you’re coming home.” And though heartbreak is often the muse - Camille’s artistry suggests that perhaps it can be as romantic as falling in love itself.
